SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A Family Fun Day is set for this Saturday at Southeast Park in South Bend!
Sonia Perez, a community member who recently worked for a local non-profit, is hosting the event.
Perez has been able to gather enough community support to host her own event for the first time.
She is continuing her work of giving back to the community, and specifically highlighting people and businesses in the Hispanic community.
From 12-6pm, you can stop by Southeast Park for fun activities, giveaways and raffles, food and more!
Local barbers will be giving out free haircuts to kids heading back to school in a few short weeks.
Clear backpacks, meeting the district's new policy, will also be given to South Bend students, along with school supplies.
A photography studio will be on site, giving family photoshoots for only $25.
There are 10 performers expected to offer live music to the crowds as well.
For more information, visit the event's Facebook page!
