Getting creative at local art studio

MISHAWAKA, Ind.-- This morning Summer's Spotlight went out to Board and Brush in Mishawaka to catch up on options available during the pandemic!

There are special classes that you can join in on all throughout the week--just look at their calendar full of upcoming events on their website.

Otherwise you can call the studio or message them on their Facebook page.

If you are interested in painting there are over 400 design options available for you to pick from!

Anything from corn hole boards, to signs, graduation signs for graduates, mats for the front door--there are plenty of options for a night out with family/friends or your next event.

For these 400 some projects there is a standard $68 fee which includes the materials, the 3 hour class, your visit and a special homemade personalized project to take home.

The stencils are all pre-made before your visit--so make sure to book ahead for your upcoming party or visit.

There are special group rates for those with 6 people or more not to mention availability for large group or work events as well.

If you are still staying socially distanced from businesses, you can go in person to paint safely, join in on a virtual session/class or you also have the option to bring home a take home kit.

The kit's include the wood, stain, paint, brushes, and a stencil of choice so you can make your creation right in the comfort of your own home.

If you have specific questions or are looking into reserving a time slot--reach out to Kayla Skirvin, owner, who would be happy to clarify and make sure you and your group can get in!
