Good news for drivers as gas prices lower

NILES, Mich. -- Good news for drivers around the Michiana area. Gas prices are on the way down.
The Murphy USA gas station on M-51 in Niles was selling gas for $3.48 a gallon. That is nearly 20 cents lower than some of the neighboring stations.
And drivers felt, the lower price was worth the wait.
"I look for the best price, but this is my usual spot," said Eau Claire resident, Regeana Karn.
AAA says drivers in the South Bend area are paying around $3.56 a gallon. That's right around the national average, which is $3.57.
