Goshen Community Schools go to e-learning for Friday

GOSHEN, Ind. -- Superintendent Dr. Steven Hope of Goshen Community Schools announced that all students in the school district will have an e-learning day on Friday due to a national social media challenge that threatens the safety of schools around the country.

After officials learned about a TikTok challenge that is encouraging students to perform violent acts at their schools on Friday, Goshen Community Schools decided not to have in-person learning on Friday.

Students are encouraged to check their Canvas profiles to stay updated on assignments and scheduling for final exams.

In-person learning is scheduled to resume after the holiday break on January 3.
