Goshen officer named in deadly shooting

GOSHEN, Ind. -- We now know the name of the Goshen police officer who shot and killed a man this week.

Joshua Havens is on paid administrative leave, pending a state police investigation.

He's been with the department for five years.

On Sunday, 47-year-old Melvin Bledsoe led police on a high-speed chase before crashing his car into a building.

Right now, we don't know what lead to the shooting.

This is the first time in 41 years that a Goshen police officer has shot and killed someone.
