GOSHEN, Ind.—The city of Goshen is celebrating a successful campaign to renovate and modernize the Goshen Theater with a week-long event.
Goshen Theater Week invites community members to participate in a week full of free activities.
On Wednesday, community members watched a presentation of the history behind the theater and were able to go backstage for a tour to view parts of the theater not usually open to the public.
“We want people to be able to be here comfortably and experience this history, not just of Goshen Theater, but of Goshen itself. This is an amazing place that’s been here over 100 years and you really experience that amazing history when you are here at an event,” said Amber Burgess, Managing Director at Goshen Theater.
Renovations are set to begin in May.
