Grant County sheriff's deputy dies in car accident

MADISON COUNTY, Ind. — The Grant County Sheriff Department is mourning the loss of one of their own officers. Sheriff's deputy Michael Andry was killed in an accident Friday night in Madison County, which neighbors Grant County.
A pick-up truck turned in front of the off-duty officer's car as the truck tried to turn left. A motorcycle struck the passenger's side door.
The officer died at the hospital.
