Gym equipment stolen from Elkhart Fitstop

ELKHART, Ind. – Several pieces of gym equipment were reported stolen from a Fitstop on Monday, the Elkhart Police Department reported.

At 2:57 a.m., an officer arrived to the gym on Old West U.S. 20 for a burglary report.

The caller said that at 2:45 a.m., he and his wife arrived at the gym and noticed the cash register was open.

Video surveillance showed an unknown man enter the building and remove gym equipment. The gym’s owner said several kettle bells and barbells were missing.

No arrests have been made at this time.
