Heat Crowned: LeBron wins first NBA title

MIAMI, Fla. – LeBron James got what he came for in Miami.

The Heat are champions of the NBA, winning their second NBA title in franchise history, their last being in 2006 over the Dallas Mavericks.

The Heat silenced the Thunder in Game 5 Thursday night on their home court in Miami.

After losing the first game in OKC, the Big Three never backed down the rest of the way winning the series 4-1.

NBA finals MVP LeBron James had a triple-double with 26 points, 11 rebounds and 13 assists. OKC's Kevin Durant led all scoring with 32 points.

The final score was 121-106.
