Heating problems force closure of Howard Park Senior Citizens Center

The Howard Park Senior Citizens Center on E Jefferson Boulevard is closed until further notice because there is no heat, according to the city of South Bend.
"We are very sorry for this inconvenience,” says Rose Kaufman, Howard Senior Center Supervisor, in a press release. “However, there is a problem with the boiler and the facility has no heat.”

If the winter Wonderland Party scheduled for Thursday is cancelled, those registered for the event will be notified.
