Cloudy, breezy Wednesday morning; improvements this afternoon
U.S 12 in Edwardsburg was flooded by rain water early Monday morning as strong storms passed through. Officials placed “water over road” signs near the intersection of Calvin Center Road.
It was reported several people were not slowing down until they reached the pooled water.
Further south, Mishawaka Police were warning drivers of the same situation -- standing water on roadways.
Avoid the intersection of Main St. and Edison Lakes Parkway. Edison Lakes Parkway is flooded and will be blocked on the east side of Main St both east and west bound lanes.

Police are warning drivers across the area to take it slow while on the roads.
Downpours ⛈️ = flooding ?. This much rain all at once can lead to ponding on the roads. Remember not to drive over roads with standing water. You don't know how deep it is or how fast water is moving. As we always say...slow your roll...you got this! ? #southbend #inwx
