Heavy rains flood roads in Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa — Heavy rains in the nation's Midwest is sending creeks and rivers over their banks, flooding roads. 

Flooding has forced the Iowa Department of Transportation to shut down several highways near Des Moines.

Drivers are warned to remain cautious when out on the roads.

Several counties are under flood warnings until later Friday morning.
