Here's several Michiana road closures that may affect you, coming up

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. - Paving operations on U.S. 31/Michigan St. will occur between Jackson and Ireland Rd. on, or after, Monday, September 11. 

This will result in temporary ramp closures on the exit U.S 31/20 bypass. 

Resurfacing will take approximately four days, with traffic able to travel northbound and southbound on U.S. 31, but there will be limited access at the Ireland Rd. intersection and at the access road between Main and Michigan streets at all times. 


LA GRANGE, Ind. - 700 S. will be closed from 400 to 550 East for a culvert installation. 

This road closure will take place from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6. 

Motorists will not be able to get through, please seek an alternate route. 


VAN BUREN COUNTY, Mich. - A pavement condition study will take place on I-94 eastbound, between mile markers 64 and 64 in Van Buren County. See the map on their website. 

This closure will take place between Paw Paw and Mattawan.

This study will help determine a future pavement improvement project. 

The study will take place on Tuesday, September 12 at 6:00 a.m. and ending approximately at 3:00 p.m. that same day, weather permitting. 

Drivers should expect lane closures and a traffic shift, reducing I-94 to one lane, motorists should seek an alternate route.
