GOSHEN, Ind. -- The Hispanic Heritage Market brought vibrant sights, sounds, and flavors to the Elkhart 4-H Fairgrounds in Goshen on Saturday, drawing community members from across the region.
Three committee members, who organized and prepared the event, welcomed attendees to a day filled with live bands performing a variety of Latin American music genres and dancers showcasing traditional routines. Food vendors served up tacos, tortas, pan, pupusas, aguas fre, scas and more, offering visitors a taste of Latin American culinary traditions.
Horses paraded around the market, highlighting cultural traditions, while local vendors and artisans sold handmade products and goods imported from Mexico. Organizers said the event celebrates the diverse heritage of the community and aims to support small businesses and artists.
