Summer Concert Series brings tunes to Potawatomi Park
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame hockey team hosted the Rally for Rudy car wash, benefiting honorary team member Rudy Chapman in his fight against bone cancer.
Players washed cars outside the Compton Family Ice Arena earlier this evening from 5 to 7.
In 2018, at the age of five, Chapman was diagnosed with bone cancer, going in and out of the hospital ever since.
After a recent relapse, Chapman is now currently undergoing chemotherapy and transfusions.
And the team is doing all they can to help.
All proceeds from tonight's car wash go directly to Rudy and his family to cover some of the cost of medical expenses.
