SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- Residents of South Bend are feeling the Holiday cheer Friday evening during this month's Downtown South Bend First Friday Block Party.
This year's tree lighting ceremony featured live music, mascots, fireworks, a dance performance, and even Santa Clause, who made an appearance in a fire truck.
The Creative Dance'N, who dazzled the audience with their performance, said that Holiday events like this are about the community.
"I think what makes it such a special community is the people like just right now." The dance group told ABC57. "We're all gathered around a Christmas tree, celebrating Christmas. That's really fun"
