Holy Cross selected for Second Chance Pell program

Holy Cross College has been selected for the U.S.Department of Education's Second Chance Pell program.

The program allows students in prison to be eligible for federal student aid while taking a college degree program.

The funding will help grow the program and help with funding for textbooks and professors’ salaries.

Holy Cross does  two prison education programs, one for men in Westville and one for women in Indianapolis.

The classes are taught by professors from Holy Cross and University of Notre Dame.
