Home explosion in Michigan kills one

ROYAL OAK, Mich. -- A man is dead after his home exploded early Thursday morning in Royal Oak.
It happened around 5 am, shaking the entire neighborhood and blowing the house apart.
A natural gas company has been working in the area and people who live nearby say they have been smelling gas for days.
An investigation has begun to find the cause of the explosion.
"This really loud noise and this shockwave, our windows break and we lookoutside, and there's debris falling from the sky," said a neighbor. "This kind of stuff only happens in the movies. You never expect it to happen to you."
