Hoosiers age 65 and older now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine

The Indiana Department of Health announced Monday that Hoosiers age 65 and older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

You can schedule an appointment by visiting the state’s website or call 2-1-1 for assistance.

A caregiver or loved one can make the appointment on behalf of the senior.

Because the vaccine requires two doses, appointments for the second dose will be made when the first dose is received.

The vaccine is free.
