SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Ice skaters got the chance to groove to music while skating on the new ice rink in Howard Park.
Those who attended said it was a fun twist to the traditional night on the ice usually experienced.
The festivities were DJ’d by Gary Hegland.
“This is my second time out here this season. Was just looking for something fun to do on a Friday night. I had some time to kill and figured, why not. Try something different and maybe improve my ice skating skills a little bit,” Kevin Kulesia who attended the Skate Night said.
DJ Skate Night happens every Friday from 8 p.m. – 10 p.m. during December, January, and February.
