Humane Society of Elkhart County hosting dedication and Woof-O-Ween event

BRISTOL, Ind. -- The Humane Society of Elkhart County will be holding its annual Halloween Woof-O-Ween Event on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The event will begin with dedications of the Legacy Pavers and Memorial Garden.

“Come join us for this family and pet-friendly event. This is such a fun event for pets, children and adults alike. Dress up a bit and enjoy the festivities with your favorite pet companion!" said Janet Graham, executive assistant at the Humane Society.

The event will feature a costume contest for pets and their owners; treats; a photo booth for people and their pets and shopping at the Red Barn.

“Even if you don’t currently have a pet, come out and see our adoptable animals! Plus, it is fun to see the creative costume ideas that pets and owners share at this event,” added Graham.

During the month of October, the shelter is offering $10 cat adoptions and fees waived for long-term residents.
