Humane Society working to find homes for stray pets post-tornado
Tornado cleanup continues in Southern Indiana. While survivors are working to rebuild their homes, the Indianapolis Humane Society is stepping in to take care of the four-legged survivors.
The humane society says it's seen an influx of stray animals over the past few days. The pets belong to people whose homes were destroyed and can no longer care for them.
Volunteers are working to find new homes for the animals.
It doesn't look like these furry friends will have a hard time finding a new home. The shelter says they won't be able to adopt the animals out for a few weeks, but plenty of families are already coming in to visit.
