Hurricane Irene: IN National Guard deployed

Indianapolis, IN – It was announced Saturday morning that the Indiana Army National Guards are being deployed to the East Coast.
1,000 National Guard Soldiers from Indiana have been deployed to assist with the aftermath of Hurricane Irene.
The soldiers will be leaving Sunday morning for their staging base in Pennsylvania before heading to New York.
