Husband accused of running over, killing wife

HART TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- In Michigan, a man is accused of running over his estranged wife and her new boyfriend with his pick-up truck.

The woman died at the scene and her boyfriend is seriously hurt.

"She arrived here in a vehicle and she met her friend who was working roadside,” said Lt. Craig Mast of the Oceana County Sheriff’s Department. “He was in one of the asparagus pickers roadside and he came over and was talking to her in the roadway when her estranged husband drove up on them."

Investigators are trying to figure out if the couple was actually still married. They have four children together and they were in the process of getting a divorce.

The suspect could now face manslaughter charges.
