Indiana Dunes welcomes hunters

CHESTERTON, Ind. --Friday, ABC 57 learned that The Indiana Dunes State Park will be inviting hunters out for two weeks in November.

The movie is an effort to control the deer population.

The park will be close to all other visitors November 14 and 15, and again November 28 and 29.

People can apply by contacting The Department of Natural Resources.

The decision to allow the hunt is made by the state on a park by park basis.
