Indiana Governor visits South Bend

Indiana Governor Mike Pence visited South Bend on Friday. We spoke with him at the Exchange Whiskey Bar in downtown.

Pence says even after the Religious Freedom Restoration Act backlash, lawmakers got a lot of work done this legislative session regarding education.

"We ended this session with a strong commitment to education,” said Pence. "I think as Hoosiers unpack what we've done here---once they see the results, they'll see this was an education session."
