Indiana has 21,033 cases of COVID-19, 1,213 deaths

The Indiana State Department of Health announced there are 541 new cases of COVID-19 and 62 deaths.

There are a total of 21,033 cases and 1,213 Hoosiers have died.

  • Elkhart Co.: 342 cases, 13 deaths
  • Fulton Co.: 34 cases, 1 death
  • Kosciusko Co.: 38 cases, 1 death, 13 recovered
  • La Grange Co.: 33 cases, 2 deaths
  • La Porte Co.: 268 cases, 8 deaths
  • Marshall Co.: 32 cases, 1 death
  • Pulaski Co.: 29 cases
  • St. Joseph Co.: 687 cases, 21 deaths, 292 recovered
  • Starke Co.: 17 cases, 2 deaths

To date, 115,834 tests have been reported to the department.

As of Tuesday, about 44 percent of ICU beds and 80 percent of ventilators were available at hospitals throughout the state.

Marion County had the most new cases, at 97.

Other counties with more than 10 new cases were Allen (32), Bartholomew (30), Cass (36), Delaware (11), Elkhart (22), Hamilton (15), Jackson (16), Johnson (15), Lake (64), LaPorte (12), Noble (37), St. Joseph (19) and Steuben (10).
