Indiana senators stall online sales tax bill

Indiana senators stalled a bill Friday that would make online retailers collect sales tax starting this summer.

That's six months earlier than a deal made by former governor Mitch Daniels.

The house passed the bill last month.

A senate committee says the state should follow the original agreement.

The Indiana retail council says the state loses up $125 million each year in online sales tax revenue.
