SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Westbound drivers on The Indiana Toll Road are being affected by the cleanup of a truck crash that sent a driver to the hospital.
Indiana State Police say the crash happened just after 6 a.m. in the westbound lanes near the South Bend airport.
Investigators say the driver of a Penske truck fell asleep, drifted to the side of the road and struck the second truck.
The Penske driver ended up trapped and had to be pulled out of the vehicle.
There's no word on the driver's condition but he was taken to the hospital.
The crash caused thousands of K-cups to spill onto the road.
Crews say it could take hours to clean up the debris.
