MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- On Thursday at 6 p.m., Inspire Mishawaka held a Town Hall meeting at Mishawaka Public Library to discuss with businesses and the public about Third Thursdays.
The meeting asked important questions such as what progress has been made with other events and projects, how to participate, and give feedback on what people and businesses would like to see the non-profit do for Mishawaka.
Another important element that was talked about tonight is the Main Street Accredited Programs which allows businesses to have opportunities to get grants and other helpful tools.
Many businesses and organizations attended the event including Indiana Electoral Candidate, Heidi Beidinger.
"This is important because it really takes an entire community to work together for something like this to launch successfully and build on the momentum that we believe is already on happening downtown thanks to the city of Mishawaka and the growth of people visiting downtown, but we want to amplify that and it really does take everybody pitching in to help that be successful." Said President of Inspire Mishawaka, Bryan Tanner.
