INDIANA – A new interactive map letting you know what’s happening in your area as well as gives first responders more information.
The Indiana Commission to Combat Drug Abuse has released an online Naloxone Administration Heat Map.
It shows where naloxone has been administered and reported by emergency medical services providers throughout the state. You can see the data all the way back from 2014 and every year until now, as well as the last 30 days.
South Bend is one of the hot spots on the matter no matter which data you’re looking at.
The hope is that this map will give first responders a visual asset to help them deploy resources more efficiently.
