MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The City of Mishawaka announced Thursday that the intersection of Oakley Avenue and Vistula Road will temporarily close on Mar. 9 for sewer inspections.

Officials say this is being done as part of the Oakley Avenue Reconstruction Project.

From 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., barricades will be in place.

Detour signs will be in place directing traffic to Lincolnway East by using Ballard Avenue during this work.

Motorists are asked to use caution and use alternate routes to ensure the safety of the crews working in this area.
