Intersection of Redfield Street, Gumwood Road closed for tree clearing starting March 28

CASS COUNTY, Mich. - The intersection of Redfield Street and Gumwood Road and a section of Gumwood Road will be closed starting Tuesday for tree clearing ahead of expected roundabout construction in the area, according to the Cass County Road Commission.
The intersection of Redfield and Gumwood Road will be completely closed during tree clearing.
Gumwood Road will be closed north of the Adams Road roundabout for northbound traffic.
Residents who live on Gumwood will still have access to their homes.
A detour route will utilize Fir Road/Clover Road, Adams Road and Ironwood Road.
Closures will be in place for the remainder of the week.
