Iowa teen faces felony charge after posting Facebook threat

PELLA, Iowa — A 16-year-old girl in Iowa is facing felony charges after she posted a threat against her school on Facebook.
Police in Pella, Iowa said that the high school student posted a threat against a staff member at Pella High School. And they are taking the teen's words seriously.
Police charged the girl with the threat of arson which is a felony in Iowa.
School officials would not say what disciplinary action she will face. But they do not believe anyone at the school is in any danger.
