Irish hoops: Women clinch the number one spot

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – There was big news for Fighting Irish hoops fans Saturday night. The Notre Dame women became the number 1 seed for the Big East Conference.
Notre Dame clinched its spot with an 80 to 68 victory over South Florida at home Saturday.
The Irish victory and St. John's win over Villanova moved the Irish into the top spot, giving Notre Dame fans plenty to celebrate!
