For Irish faithful, the final home game of the season can be a tough pill to swallow, knowing they have to wait until next fall to see their team play again.
However, it's even tougher for the players, many of whom will be playing their last game ever at Notre Dame Stadium.
Saturday's contest against Navy not only gives the Irish a chance to send the seniors out on a high note, but it's also an opportunity to bounce back from a crushing loss to Miami last week.
