ISP head claims he'd legalize pot

The head of the Indiana State Police said if it were up to him he'd legalize and tax marijuana

Superintendent Paul Whitesell met with the state budget committee Tuesday. He said he's followed the issue for years and believes the country's attitude has changed.

Washington and Colorado voted to legalize weed earlier this month. At least one Indiana senator agrees.

Last session a bill was shot down on the issue.
