IU's Kelley School of Business projects major increase of Indiana jobs next year

BLOOMINGTON, Ind.-- There is some good news on the Indiana jobs front.

Indiana University announced it has released its annual economic forecast. The Kelley School of Business projects Indiana will add 40,000 jobs next year, but the state won't reach precession numbers until 2014.

In September, Indiana's unemployment rate was 8.9 percent. Home construction is also expected to jump in 2012.
