Jared Lee Loughner gets life sentencing for Tucson shootings

Jared Lee Loughner is slapped with seven life sentences plus 140 years in prison after shooting Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and 18 others.

When he walked into the courtroom, Giffords silently looked in his direction. Many of the victims told Loughner, they did not hate him.

“I know that he will spend the rest of his life never seeing the sunshine and that could have been prevented,” said Pam Simon, Tucson shooting victim.

Giffords husband also spoke out in court and said quote, "Mr. Loughner, you may have put a bullet through her head, but you haven't put a dent in her spirit."
