MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- A swearing in ceremony was held Tuesday at 10 a.m. for newly appointed Fire Chief Joshua Jester.
Chief Jester will take over for Chief Byron Woodward, who retired last week after his 30-year career in Mishawaka.
Joshua Jester, new Mishawaka Fire Chief, ""I could not be more excited about this. I've been trying to develop as a leader for a long time, knowing that this might be something in the future that I would like to do, I've had so many mentors that have poured into me, and the chance to lead the men and women that we have on our department is just an incredible honor."
