Judge rejects request to delay Pinkney trial

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- A judge denied a Benton Harbor activist's requests to delay his trial date.

Reverend Edward Pinkney is accused of election fraud.

 

Pinkney faces several charges related to allegedly changing the dates on recall petitions against Benton Harbor Mayor James Hightower.

Jury selection will start  next week.
