ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- As ABC57 News first reported in 2023, St. Joseph County Probate Court Judge was suspended from the bench, without pay, for 45 days by the Indiana Supreme Court Commission on Judicial Conduct.
The commission found Judge Jason Cichowicz misused a former client's money. Russell Cartwright left an estimated $8M dollar estate when he died last year, and it turns out Judge Cichowicz inherited his former client's money.
Now, a woman is contesting the will in court and trying to get the case moved out of St. Joseph County, where the judge presides. And a new witness has now come forward with allegations of his own.
