Junior Lee Beebe found guilty of murder

Emotions flooded out of the Van Buren County Courthouse today as a jury found Junior Lee Beebe Junior guilty of murder.

The conviction comes after a week of testimony that Beebe shot and killed Amy Henslee and Tonya Howarth, then buried their bodies in the frozen ground to cover up the crimes.

The crime happened back in January. On Tuesday came the resolution that families were waiting for.

"Now we can - we can start to heal. There wasn't any healing process for the last six months," said Tricia Kraiger, Howarth's sister.

James Henslee, Amy's husband, said, "Amy's looking down and Tonya's looking down and we got our answers. Now he'll pay for it."

Beebe faces life in prison without parole. He will be sentenced on September 13.

There is no word yet on whether or not he plans to appeal.
