Kitty survives six hour trip on top of gas tank

FAIRPORT, N.Y. -- A kitten survived a dangerous six hour trip over hundreds of miles.

The little kitty, nicknamed Connecticut, survived the trip from Connecticut all the way to Rochester, New York.

But the cat was not inside the car the whole time. He was sitting on top of the car's gas tank.

The family driving the car heard a strange noise and once they got to Rochester, a mechanic discovered the cat on the gas tank.

Connecticut the cat is recovering and will so go up for adoption.
