LA GRANGE COUNTY, Ind. -- A deputy with the La Grange County Sheriff's Department recovered a large amount of tools and construction equipment following a traffic stop on July 8.

The deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy Blazer and noticed a large amount of construction-related tools and equipment in the back.

The deputy knew a trailer with similar tools and equipment inside had been stolen two days before.

After obtaining a search warrant for the blazer and a location in the 1100 E block of CR 405 South, a large amount of stolen goods were recovered and returned to their owners.

The investigation is ongoing.
