La Porte LakeFest announces 2021 schedule

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – La Porte LakeFest has just been announced for July 30 through Aug. 1. The festival will feature concerts, markets, fireworks and boat races.

The festival will be held throughout La Porte at Pine Lake, Stone Lake and Clear Lake.

July 30

Kicking off the LakeFest, a sand volleyball tournament will take place at the Dunes Event Center at 3 pm. A downtown farmers market and food market will take place at The Stitch on Monroe Street from 4 pm to 8 pm.

A Teen Beach Night will also take place on July 30. It is set to take place from 6 pm to 9 pm at Stone Lake Beach. During that time, a concert will take place at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Downtown on State Street, dance the night away at the Downtown Street Dance. It will take place from 8 pm to 11 pm.

July 31

A 5k at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater will kick off the day. A sand volleyball tournament will happen again at the Dunes Event Center at 9 am. There will be a Kids Fun Day at Unity Park from 9 am to 11 am.

The AquaX Personal Water Craft Races will be revving up at 10 am and last until 4 pm at Stone Lake Beach.

During the same time, The Collective Artisan Market will take place across the road at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater.

After the boat races in Stone Lake, things will relax with a Kayak/Canoe Sunset Paddle. The sunset paddle will take place from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Over on Pine Lake, a Venetian Boat Parade will take place at 7 pm.

To end the night, a concert and fireworks display will take place at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Aug. 1

The last day of the sand volleyball tournament will take place once again at Dunes Event Center at 9 am.

The AquaX Personal Water Craft Races will take place at Stone Lake from 10 am to 4 pm.

Lastly, the Festival Del Lago Concert ends LakeFest at the Dennis F. Smith Amphitheater from 12 pm to 4 pm.
