STEVENSVILLE, Mich – Lincoln Charter Township plans to build a new non-motorized path, and neighbors are split on the idea.
The proposed 10-foot-wide path would cross over Hickory Creek and cut through some properties.
Some neighbors say the path would cut into their property and ruin their privacy.
Lincoln Township says the benefit outweighs the relatively small amount of people effected.
The township says the grant funded path plan has been in progress since 2013 and they will move forward with creating the path while seeking input from neighbors through public meetings like Thursday’s.
