KOKOMO, Ind. -- A tornado ripped through Kokomo around 3 Sunday afternoon. ABC 57's Brian Dorman arrived in Kokomo around 9:30 p.m. Sunday and started to tour the devastation.
Along South Washington Street Monday morning you could see a bank that is now leveled.
It's not just the business district hit hard, but neighborhoods there are left with trails of debris.
A State of Emergency was lifted there at 6 a.m.
That means people will just start to see the destruction once the sun rises Monday since residents weren't allowed to leave their homes overnight.
Indiana Governor Mike Pence is expected to tour the area Monday.
