Local military family celebrates with B100 at annual birthday concert

B100 celebrated its 22nd birthday with the annual B100 Birthday Bash.  The all day, free country concert drew in hundreds from across the Michiana area.

Like any good birthday, the event started out with presents.  

One gift in particular was given to one local wounded warrior and his family.

Dave Gillam served in the United States military for 20 years. His family received a $5,000 check for groceries at Martin's, courtesy of Martin's and Eckrich. 

Dave, Anna, and their two sons say they are grateful for this show of appreciation. 

This year, the B100 Birthday Bash includes five country artists: Brett Young, Chase Bryant, Clare Dunn, Thompson Square, and Clint Black. 

B100's loyal listeners were able to win the free tickets for the past couple of week through contests and events. 

The St. Joseph County Fairgrounds were transformed into the Budweiser Festival Park for this annual celebration.
