GOSHEN, Ind. - Saturday marked the 24th annual International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day.
The event is celebrated throughout the world shown by several venues throughout Indiana hosted remembrance events.
One such remembrance event was hosted by the Elkhart County Suicide Prevention Coalition at the historic Goshen Theater.
Around a dozen people joined together to share memories, learn about resources and speak on the future of instant care for those in need.
The health coalition currently reaches out to the families of those who have committed suicide on a delayed response basis, with the goal of soon being able to speak with families at the scene of the event.
If you or anyone you know is in need of support, reach out to your local health department or call/text 988.
